Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Overview
iAMBBS ("we", "our", "us") is committed to providing quality MBBS abroad consultancy services to Indian students. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms and conditions under which refunds may be issued for our services. By engaging our services, you agree to the terms described below.
We understand that plans can change, and we strive to be fair and transparent in our refund process. Please read this policy carefully before making any payment.
2. Services Covered
This policy applies to the following services provided by iAMBBS:
- University Selection & Counselling — guidance on choosing the right NMC-approved medical university abroad
- Admission Processing — application submission, document preparation, and admission letter procurement
- Visa Assistance — student visa application guidance, document preparation, and embassy appointment support
- Travel & Accommodation — flight booking assistance, airport pickup, and hostel arrangement coordination
- Post-Arrival Support — university registration, local orientation, and ongoing student support
- FMGE Preparation Guidance — exam preparation strategy, coaching center recommendations, and study material guidance
3. Free Services (No Payment Required)
The following services are provided completely free of charge, and no refund question arises:
- Initial counselling and university recommendation session
- NEET score-based university eligibility assessment
- Country and university comparison guidance
- General information about MBBS abroad process
- Access to our website tools (calculators, comparison tools, FMGE guides)
4. Refund Eligibility
4.1 Full Refund (100%)
A full refund of the service fee may be issued in the following cases:
- Cancellation within 48 hours of payment, provided no services have been rendered
- iAMBBS is unable to secure admission at any of the agreed-upon universities
- The selected university loses its NMC approval status after payment but before admission confirmation
- Visa rejection due to reasons attributable to iAMBBS (not applicable for rejections due to student's personal circumstances)
4.2 Partial Refund (50-75%)
A partial refund may be issued in these situations:
- Cancellation after 48 hours but before any university application is submitted (75% refund)
- Cancellation after university application is submitted but before admission letter is received (50% refund)
- Student is unable to travel due to documented medical emergency (50-75% refund, case-by-case basis)
4.3 No Refund
Refunds will NOT be issued in these cases:
- After the admission letter has been issued and accepted by the student
- After the student visa has been issued
- If the student fails to meet the university's eligibility criteria (NEET score, academic requirements)
- Change of mind by the student or parents after services have been substantially rendered
- University fees paid directly to the university (these are governed by the university's own refund policy)
- Government fees, embassy fees, or third-party charges (apostille, translation, etc.)
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, follow these steps:
- Email us at info@iambbs.com with subject line "Refund Request — [Your Name]"
- Include your full name, contact number, payment receipt, and reason for refund
- Our team will review your request within 3-5 business days
- If approved, the refund will be processed within 7-14 business days via the original payment method
- You will receive email confirmation once the refund is initiated
6. University Fee Refunds
Any fees paid directly to the university (tuition, hostel, registration) are subject to the university's own refund policy. iAMBBS is not responsible for university fee refunds, but we will assist students in communicating with the university to facilitate the refund process where possible.
Most universities have the following general refund guidelines:
- Before semester starts: 70-90% refund (varies by university)
- Within first month: 50-70% refund
- After first month: Usually non-refundable
7. Dispute Resolution
If you are not satisfied with our refund decision, you may escalate your concern to our management team at info@iambbs.com. We aim to resolve all disputes amicably within 15 business days. Any unresolved disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts in New Delhi, India.
