What is NEET UG Counselling?
NEET UG Counselling is the centralized admission process for MBBS, BDS, AYUSH, and other medical courses in India. The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) conducts counselling for 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats, deemed universities, central universities, and ESIC/AFMS institutes. The remaining 85% seats are filled through respective state counselling authorities.
The counselling process involves online registration, choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting to the allotted college. Candidates who do not secure a seat in India can also apply for MBBS abroad at NMC-approved universities.
