What Students Say
Joining the FIS programme at MUCM in August of 2023, I quickly realized the university had become my second home, nurturing me both academically and personally. Although stepping outside my comfort zone initially felt intimidating, the supportive environment created by the lecturers and staff encouraged me to grow with confidence. Their guidance helped me build a strong academic foundation while developing critical thinking and independence. Along the way, I formed lifelong friendships and found a community that truly felt like family. The FIS programme eased my transition into MBBS, and now as a second-year MBBS student, I pursue knowledge with the high hopes of a promising future.

Finishing my 5th year here. The clinical years are definitely the strength of the program. You get a lot of hands-on exposure in the hospitals, which is what matters most for housemanship. The workload is heavy and it can be quite stressful at times, but the faculty is generally supportive if you put in the effort. Good place if you’re looking for solid clinical training in Malaysia.

My experience in FIS was very meaningful and enjoyable. The lecturers are professional, supportive, and always willing to guide us, which made learning much easier and more engaging. I also appreciated the good balance between studies and personal time, which helped me stay motivated throughout the programme. The strong foundation I gained from FIS prepared me well for my next step, and I am currently pursuing the MBBS programme at MUCM.
