What Students Say

⭐ 5 stars – Dr. Bhanu Pratap Shah, Radiology, Birat Medical Teaching Hospital Date of visit: 23 November 2025 I walked in feeling lost — my eyelids felt tight and no doctor could explain why. Dr. Bhanu welcomed me, did a quick 15 MHz skin scan and showed me the numbers: my eyelid skin was 2 mm thick — way more than the usual 0.4 mm. He calmly explained where the cursor was placed, what the numbers meant and handed me the printout — the first real proof I had after months of being told “it looks normal”. No attitude — just facts, kindness and clarity. If you need high-resolution skin or eyelid ultrasound, Dr. Bhanu delivers fast, factual results with a smile. Huge thanks — you gave me evidence I can trust.

Feedback on Patient Care and Lab Services at Birat Medical Teaching Hospital. All departments maintain high standards, but the sample collection lab particularly stood out to me. The token system and queue management are excellent, and the lab staff provide thorough and compassionate guidance. Patients with doubts or questions are assisted patiently and respectfully. During sample collection, I observed that one or two staff member directs all patients to maintain the queue and ensures that the process follows the correct order. This is an innovative and highly effective system, and I truly appreciate this approach. I believe it is one of the best ways to manage a crowded area, and I have never seen such an organized and efficient system for handling crowds before. One thing I also noticed is that some collection staff can be a bit arrogant and impolite behavior at times. However, the standing staff who guide and advise both the collection staff and patients perform their duties exceptionally well. Whenever I had a question or concern, I could always ask the standing staff, and they answered patiently and helpfully. I am very happy with their support. Overall, my experience in this lab and hospital has been excellent. I would highly recommend Birat Medical Teaching Hospital to everyone seeking reliable, compassionate, and professional healthcare.

I am very impressed with the services at Birat Medical Teaching Hospital. It’s truly commendable how such a large and reputed institution manages to provide care efficiently to so many patients every day. The hospital staff handle both emergency and OPD patients in a very organized and professional manner. I especially want to mention Lab person Kartavya Sir, who manages patients with great care and dedication. He helps every patient during the collection process — including senior citizens, pregnant women, wheelchair and bed patients — with kindness and respect. He is a hardworking and sincere person. I believe he is under 20 years old, yet he handles all responsibilities very efficiently and maturely. His polite behavior and willingness to help everyone truly make the hospital environment positive and comfortable. The hospital is continuously improving its facilities, stock management, and service quality, which shows its strong commitment to patient care. I’m grateful for the care and attention I received and would definitely recommend Birat Medical Teaching Hospital to others seeking reliable and compassionate healthcare.
