What Students Say
One of the best medical school of Peoples Republic of China, formerly called Shanghai Second Medical University later was merged in 2005 with Jiao Tong University Shanghai. It was established in 1952 as municipal medical college later named Shanghai Second Medical University in 1985. Some of the old buildings looked classical French styled buildings. During my visit in 2018 more high risers were constructed. Medical school was ranked first in clinical medicine in national level & ranked 84 globally. It had 13 big hospitals where students were trained. It provided quality education & I am proud to be a graduate but my request for a copy of certificate in Chinese for USMLE exam was ignored by authorities in 2006 & I had to abandon the exam.
