What Students Say

4.5 from 4 reviews

Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University (UKSW) at 1/3 Kazimierza Wóycickiego Street in Warsaw is a university I can confidently rate very positively – both academically, organizationally, in terms of infrastructure, and the atmosphere of student life. The standard of teaching at UKSW is high – the teaching staff is composed of competent, committed, and open-minded lecturers who not only impart theoretical knowledge but also support the development of practical skills and independent thinking. The study programs are well-considered and flexible, and the university regularly adapts its offerings to the changing needs of the labor market, combining humanistic values with a modern approach to learning. The infrastructure of the campus on Wóycickiego Street is modern and functional – spacious lecture halls, well-equipped laboratories, a library with an extensive collection of books, relaxation areas, and areas for individual and group study create comfortable conditions for both studying and spending free time. The entire campus is well-maintained, green, and friendly, promoting concentration and socializing. The university's administrative organization also deserves recognition – most matters can be handled efficiently through the USOS system or with the help of the dean's offices, which strive to be helpful and responsive to student needs. The university is investing in the digitalization of services and communication with students, which translates into improved efficiency and transparency of processes. The student life and atmosphere are another huge asset of UKSW. There are numerous research clubs, academic initiatives, student organizations, as well as cultural and social events. This allows students to develop their passions and build relationships not only within their specialization but also across faculties. It's also worth emphasizing that UKSW creates a space for people with diverse worldviews – based on Christian values, yet open, pluralistic, and tolerant. UKSW is a university with a mission and identity, yet modern and future-oriented. Studying there means not only acquiring knowledge but also personal and social development in a very positive atmosphere. I wholeheartedly recommend this university to anyone looking for a university that combines tradition with modernity and high-quality education.

I graduated with a degree in psychology here in 2015. I find it a very student-friendly university. Most lecturers are committed to building valuable relationships with students. Teaching is of a high standard, but not through intimidation, but rather by sparking curiosity and engaging students in research, university life, student clubs, and so on. I highly recommend this university, or at least the Institute of Psychology. I've been working in the profession for years as a psychotherapist, and UKSW is highly regarded in this community.

I'm happy with my choice of university. As with any university, it varies. But overall, the professors are knowledgeable and know how to convey it. They're demanding. The atmosphere is very good. The students are great people. There's a friendly and collaborative atmosphere.
