What Students Say
5 stars because I see everyone in there as a family: “Medicine“ When I first joined the university, I thought we would be divided into small groups and that the environment would be more organized. But the reality was different. There was a lot of disorganization and randomness, and most professors would come in, start lecturing immediately, and leave—without giving us any time to get used to them or for them to know us. There’s also a general feeling that professors treat students as if we are “below” them, which creates a discouraging environment for asking questions, creativity, and open discussion. Another major issue is the huge number of students, which affects everything—especially OSCE exam days, where the professor doesn’t give students enough time or a fair chance. Education here depends mainly on the student’s own effort, not the university. Professors often explain topics that aren’t even the ones that show up in the exams, because the exams come from different sources. So relying only on lectures is not enough. You will need to: • Practice previous exam questions • Take extra courses outside the university • Use additional, reliable study resources Most professors also come from universities abroad, so they don’t really understand our background as students. They just come, give the lecture, and leave with very little interaction. In short: If you plan to depend only on the university, it will be difficult. But if you’re ready to study from multiple sources and put in your own effort, you can manage despite these issues.
