What Students Say
An excellent state university. Warm, cozy atmosphere, inexpensive and “delicious” dining. Metro within walking distance. Training in Psychology (including a specialty in Clinical Psychology), Social Work, Conflictology, Speech Therapy. Various areas of training and advanced training. There is a budget for social work and speech therapy.

I spent six years studying here. The institute is wonderful. Gurevich is a rare beast; fire her and you'll be priceless.
Ольга Хмылёва
I graduated from St. Petersburg State Institute of Psychology and Social Development in 2020 with a bachelor's degree in Conflictology and a retraining program in Practical Psychology. The institute provides a high-quality education and has excellent teachers. Among the strongest, in my opinion, in conflictology are: Volkova V.V., Andreeva O.I., Ignatyeva O.A., and Satikova S.V. In psychology: Kraynyukov S.V., Tareeva A.Yu., Markovskaya G.G., Gorbatova E.A., Shchukina M.A., Chernov D.Yu., Soshina O.I., Bandura O.O. (I may have mixed up the initials, but the last names are accurate). I studied on a fee-paying basis, so I don't know about the budget, but the tuition is not as high as at other universities in the city. There is only one drawback - not enough practice, but I think the institute will correct this issue. I recommend applying to this institute.
